Recovery Changes

Welcome to a very special place, where recovery starts and healing begins.

The Recovery Council offers multiple treatment options to meet you right where you are.

The Recovery Council is a non-profit 501(c)3 treatment provider located in southern Ohio. Our culturally diverse team is carefully selected and composed of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counselors, case managers and aides, all of whom are directed by clinical supervisors. We carefully coordinate a plan of treatment tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Comprehensive Treatment

We provide outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, and recovery and transitional housing.

Client-Centered Care

Our agency is dedicated to ensuring client care is at the center of everything. Our treatment providers work with each client to provide personalized treatment planning to ensure each individual gets the specific care they need.

Specialty Programs

We offer trauma-informed programming for survivors of human trafficking and other significant traumas as well as family reunification and stabilization housing for families who have successfully completed residential treatment.

We accept referrals.

I could go on and on! I give great thanks to GHH, Lori for taking that first crazy phone call, my counselor Cella for calling me out on my crap, Amy all the good talks, Everyone who worked there had great impact in my life! • I graduated yesterday from GHH, house 2. The Georgia Harris House has been the biggest blessing in my life. With the help of the best counselor Nicole Michael, Kip Bryant and many others I have been able to work thru some of my hardest struggles. I lost my boyfriend almost 3yrs ago to this disease. I found him overdosed and he later died in my arms.. Thanks to the Recovery Council, Inc. today I want to live and fight the fight that he can no longer.. Thanks to all that was a part of my journey.. and a special thanks to the RA’s that put up with us, fight for us, and loved us when we couldn’t love ourselves. I love you all
