  • I graduated yesterday from GHH, house 2. The Georgia Harris House has been the biggest blessing in my life. With the help of the best counselor Nicole Michael, Kip Bryant and many others I have been able to work thru some of my hardest struggles. I lost my boyfriend almost 3yrs ago to this disease. I found him overdosed and he later died in my arms.. Thanks to the Recovery Council, Inc. today I want to live and fight the fight that he can no longer.. Thanks to all that was a part of my journey.. and a special thanks to the RA’s that put up with us, fight for us, and loved us when we couldn’t love ourselves. I love you all

  • GHH is the best choice I’ve ever made! It truly saved my life! The staff didn’t just treat me as a client they treated me with respect, someone who honestly loved me and cared about what happened to me. I learned how to live a happy drug free life! 11 months clean & sober I’ve got my licease, car, home, custody of 2 kids back, working on seeing 2 more, I’ve worked with the probation dept on projects to better themselves, I’m starting support groups for mothers working with CPS to get there children back, I’ve got a wonderful church family, aa-na support. I could go on and on! I give great thanks to GHH, Lori for taking that first crazy phone call, my counselor Cella for calling me out on my crap, Amy all the good talks, Everyone who worked there had great impact in my life! Recovery Rocks!!!! Always remain positive!!!! I love u all!!!!
