We exist to help you build a foundation toward independence and sobriety.

As longstanding members of both Ross and Pike county communities, The Recovery Council works closely with an extensive network of staff and supporting agencies to provide a variety of services to clients in crisis. Referrals are accepted.

We offer in-patient care to women, out-patient care to men and women, transitional living programming for women, assistance with drug and alcohol addiction, other substance abuse treatment, mental health services, individual and group counseling, intensive outpatient programs, domestic violence counseling for men and women, life skill coaching, outreach services, educational groups, co-dependency counseling, parenting classes, anger management classes, drug testing, driver’s intervention programming, substance abuse assessment, substance abuse education, transportation services, and case management.

We work with various social agencies including Children’s Services, Job and Family Services, County and Common Pleas Courts, Brigdehaven, Community Action and many others.

We serve people in the following counties: Ross, Pike, Pickaway, Highland, and Fayette but will accept clients from other Ohio counties.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Pike County Recovery Council, Inc. is to provide evidence based treatment services to the people of Pike County and surrounding areas, quality integrated AOD/Mental Health and alcohol and drug abuse/addiction treatment services which will include, but not limited to: Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Case Management Services, Intensive Outpatient Services, Prevention Services, and Residential Services. These Services will be provided in this agency or in an environment that is comfortable for the client. All efforts will be made to provide the best quality services and abstinence based treatment to those individuals who request services from our agency. Target population for the provided services: individuals, family members, relatives, employees, significant others and interested community citizens effected by drug and /or alcohol abuse in Pike and Ross County, Ohio and surrounding areas. This statement has been presented to the Board of Directors of the Pike County Recovery Council, Inc. and approved.

Our agency conforms to the CARF standards and The Ohio revised code. We currently hold accreditation and licensing with CARF and ODADAS.

The Pike County Recovery Council has been accredited by CARF (The Commission on Accreditation of Residential Facilities) for a period of three years for the following programs:

  • Case Management
  • Outpatient Treatment
  • Residential Treatment
  • Prevention/Diversion

The accreditation outcome, which represents the highest level of accreditation, is awarded to organizations which show substantial fulfillment of the standards established by CARF. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation Outcome has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its program and services are accountable, measurable and of the highest quality.
